1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Tanduu, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to use Tanduu for personal and commercial purposes under the following conditions:

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this service
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security

3. Service Provider Terms

If you are a service provider on Tanduu:

• You must deliver services as described in your listings
• You are responsible for the quality of your work
• You must respond to buyer inquiries in a timely manner
• Tanduu may charge a commission on completed transactions

4. Buyer Terms

If you are purchasing services:

• You must provide clear requirements for your orders
• Payment is required before service delivery begins
• You must approve completed work in a reasonable timeframe

5. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through our platform. Funds are held in escrow until the buyer approves the completed work.

6. Intellectual Property

Service providers retain ownership of their work until full payment is received. Upon payment, agreed-upon usage rights are transferred to the buyer.

7. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Fraudulent or illegal activities
• Harassment or abusive behavior
• Spam or unsolicited advertising
• Circumventing platform fees

8. Platform Integrity & Off-Platform Deals

All transactions, payments, and communications related to projects initiated through Tanduu must be conducted exclusively through the Tanduu platform.

8.1 Prohibited Activities

The following activities are expressly prohibited:

• Private Payments: Requesting or offering payments outside of Tanduu (e.g., PayPal, bank transfer, cryptocurrency, cash)
• Off-Platform Communication: Moving ongoing projects to external communication channels (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, private email) to circumvent platform fees
• Fee Circumvention: Any action designed to avoid platform commissions

8.2 Exceptions

The following activities are permitted:

• Follow-Up Communication: After project completion, freelancers and clients may communicate directly for future collaborations
• Support Communication: Email exchanges for support inquiries (e.g., "I'm having trouble uploading")
• Portfolio Links: Sharing LinkedIn, portfolio websites, or GitHub profiles is allowed

8.3 Benefits of Platform Usage

By using Tanduu for all transactions, you benefit from:

• Buyer Protection: Funds held in escrow until service delivery
• Seller Protection: Secure payment without chargeback risk
• Automatic Invoices: VAT-compliant invoices for your accounting
• Dispute Resolution: Neutral mediation in case of conflicts
• Portfolio Building: Reviews and ratings for your reputation

8.4 Monitoring & Enforcement

Tanduu uses AI technology to detect suspicious patterns in messages (e.g., mentions of external payment methods). Users can also report suspicious requests. Upon AI warning, you will be informed and given an opportunity to respond.

8.5 Consequences for Violations

• 1st Violation: Official warning, email with platform benefits explanation, account remains active
• 2nd Violation: Temporary account suspension (7 days), freezing of pending payments, written statement required
• 3rd Violation: Permanent account suspension, withholding of pending payments, legal action in case of severe fraud

8.6 Withholding of Funds

In cases of severe violations, Tanduu reserves the right to withhold pending payments to: compensate harmed users, secure platform fees, and cover administrative costs.

8.7 Reporting Violations

You can report suspicious requests:

• In Chat: "Report" → "Off-Platform Deal"

9. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes, parties should first attempt to resolve the issue directly. If resolution is not possible, Tanduu may mediate based on our policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

Tanduu acts as a marketplace platform. We are not responsible for the quality, legality, or delivery of services provided by third-party sellers.
